Tato práce se zabývá analýzou motivu krásy v díle japonského autora Mišimy Jukia (1925- 1970). Vzhledem k rozsahu problematiky se zaměřuje primárně na vybraná témata z rané tvorby tohoto autora s přihlédnutím k jeho esejům na dané téma. K analýze literárních děl je využit naratologický přístup Shlomith Rimmon-Kenanové. Rozebrání samotného motivu krásy je poté vedeno v duchu České strukturální estetiky. Klíčová slova Jukio Mišima, Motiv krásy, Naratologie, Literární motivy, Estetika This work focuses on the analysis of the motif of beauty in the work of the Japanese author Yukio Mishima (1925-1970). Due to the extensive nature of the topic it focuses primarily on the selected works from the early stages of the author's literary career while also paying attention to his essays on the topic. The analysis of the literary work is conducted utilizing the narratology based approach of Shlomith Rimmon-Kenan.
