cze Abstract:
K analýze využívá kombinaci teoreticko-kritického rámce, syntézy existujících kvantitativních a kvalitativních výzkumů a vlastní autorské kvalitativní analýzy vizuálního a textového obsahu z online platforem. It focuses on two basic forms of masculinities: hegemonic masculinity, which is based on the traditional ideal of masculinity founded on dominance, misogyny, and queerphobia, and so-called inclusive masculinities, which are characterized by plurality, the absence of a uniform norm, and a critical stance toward hegemonic patterns. These forms of masculinities are embedded in the broader philosophical and cultural framework of Western thought. While hegemonic masculinity is closely linked to the Enlightenment-humanist conception of metahistory and universal (hu)man, inclusive masculinities turn away from this legacy and seek alternative forms of subjectivity. These two orientations also represent different responses to the current "crisis of masculinity" - one seeks a return to the patriarchal order, the other seeks to overcome it. Based on this theoretical framework, the thesis analyzes how these two types of masculinities are constructed on social media, particularly in relation to dominance, physicality, emotionality, politics, wars, women, and queer people. The analysis uses a combination of a theoretical-critical framework, a synthesis of existing quantitative and qualitative research, and the author's own...
