Bakalářská práce pojednává o onemocněních typu svalová dystrofie. Jedná se o geneticky dědičné onemocnění, které oslabuje svalstvo převážně kosterní soustavy. Nemoc je progresivní a její postup je nevratný. Nejčastěji se vyskytujícím typem svalové dystrofie je Duchennova muskulární dystrofie postihující chlapce, na kterou je práce zaměřena především, a také na její diagnostiku a terapii. V současnosti neexistuje žádná účinná léčba příčiny onemocnění Duchennovy svalové dystrofie. Ale setkáváme se s experimenty s genovou terapií, kdy se vědci pokouší o náhradu části lidského genu dystrofinu, jehož poruchou vzniká onemocnění svalové dystrofie. K chlapcům s tímto onemocněním je nutný individuální přístup i ve školství, neboť chlapci časem ztrácejí fyzické schopnosti, a proto musí mít postupem času individuální vzdělávací plán. Na vzdělávání žáků s tímto druhem onemocnění je zaměřena poslední kapitola. Cílem práce je seznámit širokou laickou veřejnost s tímto tématem a přiblížit práci s dystrofiky ve školním prostředí pedagogům. KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA Duchennova muskulární dystrofie, dystrofin, svalová dystrofie, léčba, vzdělávání The bachelor's thesis deals with muscular dystrophy-type diseases. These are genetically inherited disorders that primarily weaken the muscles of the skeletal system. The disease is progressive and its development is irreversible. The most common type of muscular dystrophy is Duchenne muscular dystrophy affecting boys. This thesis focuses especially on this form, including its diagnosis and treatment. Currently there is no effective cure for the cause of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. However, experimental gene therapies are being explored, in which scientists attempt to replace parts of the human dystrophin gene, whose malfunction leads to the development of muscular dystrophy. Boys with this condition require an individualized approach in education, as they gradually lose physical abilities. Over time, this necessitates are creating a need for individual education plans. The final chapter of this thesis is dedicated to the education of disciple affected by this type of disease. The aim of the thesis is to inform the general public about this topic and to introduce work with children affected by muscular dystrophy to pedagogues within the school environment.
