Cíl: Cílem této práce bylo porovnat účinnost dvou konzervativních terapeutických přístupů - léčebné tělesné výchovy (LTV) a metody Nordic Walking (NW) - u pacientů s diagnózou lumbální spinální stenózy (LSS). Hodnoceny byly rozdíly z hlediska neurologického stavu, intenzity bolesti, kvality života a funkční kapacity. Metodika: Studie byla navržena jako nerandomizovaná párová intervenční studie se dvěma větvemi. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo šest probandů (2 ženy a 4 muži). Účastníci byli spárováni podle pohlaví, věku a skóre neurologického postižení (NIS-LSS). V každé dvojici jeden proband absolvoval program LTV a druhý NW. Celkem proběhlo 12 terapeutických jednotek po 30 minutách s frekvencí dvakrát týdně po dobu šesti týdnů. Měření byla provedena dvakrát - před a po intervenci. Použity byly následující nástroje: skóre NIS-LSS, numerická škála bolesti (NRS) v klidu a po zátěži, dotazník kvality života SF-36 a šestiminutový test chůze (6MWT). Data byla zpracována pomocí deskriptivní a párové neparametrické statistiky. Výsledky: Neurologické skóre zůstalo u všech účastníků po intervenci beze změny. Funkční kapacita měřená 6MWT se zlepšila u všech probandů, avšak bez statisticky významného rozdílu. Bolest v klidu zůstala převážně stabilní, zatímco bolest po zátěži se u většiny účastníků snížila o 0,5 až... Objective: The aim of this thesis was to compare the effectiveness of two conservative therapeutic approaches - therapeutic exercise (LTV) and Nordic Walking (NW) - in patients diagnosed with lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS). The evaluation focused on neurological status, pain intensity, quality of life, and functional capacity. Methods: The study was designed as a non-randomized paired interventional trial with two arms. The sample consisted of six participants (2 women, 4 men), who were matched into pairs based on gender, age, and neurological impairment score (NIS-LSS). Within each pair, one participant completed the LTV program and the other participated in the NW program. A total of 12 therapy sessions were conducted over six weeks, each lasting 30 minutes and performed twice per week. Assessments were carried out before and after the intervention using the following tools: NIS-LSS score, the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) for pain at rest and after exertion, the SF-36 quality of life questionnaire, and the Six-Minute Walk Test (6MWT). Data were analyzed using descriptive and paired non-parametric statistics. Results: Neurological status remained unchanged in all participants after the intervention.
