Dále je vymezena variabilita vývoje jedince s onemocněním, protektivní a rizikové faktory a specifika pátého a šestého vývojového stadia dle Eriksona. Vyvstaly tři tématické celky vztahy, bolest a sebepojetí. Bolest je přítomná u všech respondentů v podobě fyzické i psychické;...This thesis focuses on young adults with chronic somatic illness, specifically on their psychosocial development and experiences. The theoretical part defines the concepts of chronic somatic illness, congenital and acquired illness, rare disease, and invisible illness. It also outlines the variability of individual development with chronic illness, protective and risk factors, and the specifics of the fifth and sixth developmental stages according to Erikson. Attention is also given to the position of individuals with illness in society, considering stereotypes and stigma. The empirical part presents the methodology, data analysis, results, and discussion. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews with five respondents. Data analysis was performed using interpretative phenomenological analysis. Three thematic areas emerged: relationships, pain, and self-concept. Chronic illness significantly impacts these thematic areas. Relationships serve as a protective factor when they are present and based on respect and understanding, but illness disrupts, ends, or prevents the formation of relationships. Sexual...
