Práci lze charakterizovat jako rozpracování výsledků, postupů a myšlenek týkajících se Sylvestrova grafu z článku Rosemary A. Baileyové a kol. V první části popíšeme vlast- nosti 1-faktorizací šestibodové množiny a ukážeme, jakým způsobem z nich lze zkonstruo- vat vnější automorfismus symetrické grupy šestibodové množiny. V druhé části využijeme konstrukci Sylvestrova grafu z již zmíněného článku a dokážeme některé vlastnosti tohoto grafu. Následně detailně popíšeme grupu automorfismů Sylvestrova grafu a dokážeme, že je graf vzdálenostně tranzitivní. Nakonec ze Sylvestrova grafu sestrojíme Hoffmanův-Sin- gletonův graf podle konstrukce z blogu Petra Camerona, který je jedním z autorů zmíně- ného článku. The thesis can be characterised as an elaboration of the results, procedures and ideas related to the Sylvester graph from the article by Rosemary A. Bailey et al. In the first part, we will describe the properties of 1-factorizations of a six-element set and we will show how they can be used to construct an outer automorphism of a symmetric group on six-element set. In the second part, we will use the construction of the Sylvester graph from the mentioned article and prove some properties of this graph. Subsequently, we will describe in detail the automorphism group of the Sylvester graph, and we will prove that the graph is distance-transitive. Finally, we will construct a Hoffman-Singleton graph from the Sylvester graph using the construction from Peter Cameron's blog, who is one of the co-authors of the mentioned article.
