Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem sportovní infrastruktury, konkrétně Fortuna Areny v pražských Vršovicích, na své bezprostřední okolí. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda přítomnost multifunkčního stadionu ovlivňuje socioekonomické dění v lokalitě a jak místní obyvatelé hodnotí jeho dopady. Práce vychází z kombinace teoretických poznatků o ekonomických, sociálních a urbanistických aspektech sportovních staveb a empirického šetření realizovaného formou dotazníků mezi rezidenty a návštěvníky stadionu. Získaná data byla doplněna o rozhovor s provozovatelem stadionu a analýzu sekundárních zdrojů. Výsledky ukazují, že přítomnost stadionu přináší významné ekonomické přínosy pro podnikatelské prostředí a posiluje komunitní identitu, avšak současně vyvolává problémy související s dopravou, hlukem a čistotou veřejného prostoru. V závěru práce jsou formulována doporučení pro zlepšení vztahů mezi provozovatelem stadionu, městskou částí a obyvateli. This bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of sports infrastructure, specifically the Fortuna Arena in Prague's Vršovice district, on its surrounding area. The aim was to determine whether the presence of a multifunctional stadium affects the socio-economic conditions in the locality and how residents perceive its influence. The study combines theoretical insights into the economic, social, and urban aspects of sports facilities with empirical research conducted through questionnaires among local residents and stadium visitors. Additional data were obtained from an interview with the stadium operator and an analysis of secondary sources. The results indicate that the stadium generates significant economic benefits for local businesses and strengthens community identity; however, it also causes challenges related to traffic, noise, and public space maintenance. The thesis concludes with recommendations to improve cooperation between the stadium operator, local authorities, and residents.
