Silnice, dálnice i železniční tratě představují významný zásah do krajiny a mají prokazatelný vliv na volně žijící živočichy. Jedním z nejzávažnějších dopadů je zvýšená úmrtnost savců při střetech s vozidly. Kromě přímých kolizí způsobuje dopravní infrastruktura také takzvané behaviorální bariéry, kdy se zvířata kvůli hluku, vibracím, osvětlení nebo přítomnosti lidí těmto oblastem vyhýbají, což vede ke ztrátě přirozeného prostředí a narušení jejich každodenní aktivity. Jako jedno z účinných řešení se ukazují migrační přechody, tedy podchody a nadchody, které zvířatům umožňují bezpečně překonávat komunikace. Jejich účinnost ovlivňuje nejen samotné provedení stavby, ale také okolní prostředí a nároky konkrétních druhů. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na shrnutí dosavadních poznatků o vlivu dopravní infrastruktury na úmrtnost savců. Zohledňuje rozdíly mezi jednotlivými druhy i mezi různými obdobími roku, kdy riziko střetů narůstá, například během migrací nebo rozmnožování. Dále se věnuje porovnání silniční a železniční dopravy, které navzdory odlišným parametrům komunikací vykazují podobné dopady. Práce také popisuje faktory, které ovlivňují četnost srážek, jako je typ krajiny, blízkost vegetace, přítomnost vody nebo migrační trasy. Součástí práce je přehled technických a biologických opatření,... Roads, highways, and railway lines represent a significant intrusion into the landscape and have a demonstrable impact on wildlife. One of the most serious consequences is the increased mortality of mammals due to collisions with vehicles. In addition to direct collisions, transport infrastructure also creates so-called behavioral barriers, whereby animals avoid these areas because of noise, vibrations, lighting, or human presence. This leads to the loss of natural habitat and disruption of their daily activities. One of the effective solutions is the construction of wildlife crossings, such as underpasses and overpasses, which enable animals to safely cross transportation routes. The effectiveness of these structures is influenced not only by their design but also by the surrounding environment and the specific needs of individual species. This bachelor's thesis focuses on summarizing current knowledge about the impact of transport infrastructure on mammal mortality. It takes into account differences between species and across various times of the year when the risk of collisions increases, for example during migration or breeding periods.
