Jedním z důležitých determinantů kvality života lidí pohybujících se na vozíku je přístupnost veřejného prostoru. Ta může být omezena celou řadou různých bariér. Bakalářská práce se zabývá každodenními bariérami, s nimiž se uživatelé a uživatelky vozíku setkávají při pohybu v Praze, a zkoumá roli těchto bariér v přístupnosti městských prostorů. Klade si za cíl bariéry nejen identifikovat, ale také hlouběji porozumět způsobům, jakými přístupnost ovlivňují. Vychází z analýzy dat získaných v rámci polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s uživateli a uživatelkami vozíku, kteří se pohybují po Praze. Charakterizováno je několik druhů bariér, které v závislosti na své závažnosti trasy a místa buď zcela znepřístupňují, nebo jejich přístupnost komplikují. Práce poukazuje na proměnlivost bariér a rozpor mezi vnímanou a oficiálně deklarovanou přístupností. This can be limited by a number of different barriers. This bachelor's thesis deals with the everyday barriers that wheelchair users encounter when moving around Prague and examines the role of these barriers in the accessibility of urban spaces. It aims not only to identify barriers, but also to gain a deeper understanding of how they affect accessibility. It is based on an analysis of data obtained from semi-structured interviews with wheelchair users who move around Prague. Several types of barriers are characterized, which, depending on their severity, either completely block access to or complicate accessibility of routes and places.
