1 ABSTRAKT Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou diagnostiky jazykových schopností v kontextu bilingvního vzdělávání v prostředí mateřské školy. Na základě dotazníku a aplikace testové baterie MAIN bude autorka sledovat rozvoj jazykových schopností dětí s českým mateřským jazykem, docházejících do česko-anglické mateřské školy. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na představení strukturálního konceptu vývoje jazykových schopností, přičemž zvláštní pozornost je věnována rozvoji narativních dovedností v bilingvním prostředí a v rámci vzdělávacího kontextu. Cílem teoretického přehledu je ukázat, jakými postupy je možné v mateřské škole efektivně zachytit úroveň jazykových schopností dětí prostřednictvím narativní produkce. Empirická část práce se věnuje analýze dat získaných prostřednictvím dotazníku a strukturovaného testování. Cílem je určení jazykových schopností dětí v jejich mateřském jazyce, identifikace rozdílů mezi získanými daty z dotazníku a strukturovaného testování, a posouzení využitelnosti nástroje MAIN z pohledu pedagogické praxe v bilingvní mateřské škole. Výstupem práce bude stanovení úrovně jazykových dovedností dětí v nemateřském jazyce a formulace doporučení pro pedagogickou praxi, zaměřených na podporu rozvoje druhého jazyka na základě zjištěných výsledků. Based on a questionnaire and the application of the MAIN test battery, the author will monitor the development of language abilities of children with Czech mother tongue attending a Czech-English kindergarten. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on introducing the structural concept of language ability development, with special attention paid to the development of narrative skills in a bilingual environment and within and educational context. The aim of the theoretical review is the show what procedures can be used in kindergarten to effectively capture children's level of language ability through narrative production. The empirical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of data collected through a questionnaire and structured testing. The aim is to determine the children's language abilities in their mother tongue, to identify the differences between the data obtained from the questionnaire and structured testing, and to assess the usefulness of the MAIN tool from the perception of pedagogical practice in a bilingual kindergarten.
