Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem kompetencí účastníků čekatelského kurzu pro skauty od 15 let. Konkrétně se věnuje kompetencím týkajících se první pomoci a bezpečnosti. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda se znalosti v těchto oblastech liší během průběhu čekatelského kurzu. V teoretické části se práce zabývá Junákem - jakožto skautským výchovným hnutím, jeho historií, strukturou organizace a také specifikuje skautskou výchovnou metodu. Blíže popisuje vzdělávací systém, čekatelskou zkoušku a čekatelské kompetence. Dále definuje zásady bezpečnosti a první pomoc ve vybraných situacích. V praktické části práce obsahuje empirické šetření, které si klade otázky ohledně úspěšnosti znalostí účastníků v oblasti první pomoci a bezpečnosti a nalezení oblasti s nejnižší úspěšností. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit rozdílnost úspěšnosti v těchto oblastech v rámci šetření a vytvořit edukační materiál, který byl zaměřen na oblast s nejnižší úspěšností. K naplnění tohoto cíle bylo využito dotazníkové šetření, které porovnávalo výsledky z dotazníku a testu. Výsledky ukázaly, že respondenti v pěti oblastech první pomoci a bezpečnosti dosáhli v závěrečném testu vyšší úspěšnosti než v dotazníku. Dále bylo zjištěno, že nejnižší úspěšnost v testu (48, 65 %) vykazují tyto oblasti: přístup zachránce k osobě v bezvědomí a obstrukce... The thesis focuses on the development of scout leader's competencies in the leaders preparation course for scouts from15 years of age, specifically addressing skills related to first aid and safety. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether knowledge in these areas varies during the leader preparation course. The theoretical part of the thesis explores Junák - as a scout educational movement, its history, organizational structure and also specifies the scout educational method. It further describes the educational system, the leader's examination and leader's competencies. The thesis defines the principles of safety and first aid in chosen situations. The practical part of the thesis includes empirical research that asks questions about the success of the participants' knowledge in the field of first aid and safety and finding the area with the lowest success. The aim of the research was to determine the difference in success within the survey and to create didactic material that was aimed into the area with the lowest success. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire survey was used that compared the results from the questionnaire and the test.
