Klíčová slova: degradace půdy, utužení půdy, pedokompakce, penetrometr, objemová hmotnost6 Abstract This thesis focuses on comparing the degree of soil compaction between luvic chernozem and modal luvisol under the same land management practices. The main indicators selected were bulk density and penetration resistance. An analysis of organic matter content was also performed. The data were analyzed using statistical tests and spatially visualized through interpolation in the arcGIS Pro environment. The results show that bulk density is higher in luvisol, while chernozem exhibits a higher soil organic matter content. A statistically significant difference in soil organic matter between luvisol and chernozem was confirmed in the Ap horizon and at the depth of 20-40 cm. Penetration resistance indicates a higher degree of compaction in the Ap horizon of chernozem, whereas in the lower layers, compaction is greater in luvisol. The study confirms that, under the same management practices, there are differences between soil types in terms of organic matter content, bulk density, and the degree of compaction. Key words: soil degradation, soil compaction, pedocompaction, penetrometer, bulk density
