Diplomová práce se zabývá spokojeností pacientů s poskytovanou ošetřovatelskou péčí po operaci srdce. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat míru této spokojenosti na vybraných kardiochirurgických odděleních v České republice, zjistit, jak konkrétní aspekty péče ovlivňují pooperační průběh, a identifikovat očekávání pacientů vůči všeobecným sestrám během hospitalizace. Výzkum byl realizován kvantitativní metodou prostřednictvím anonymního dotazníkového šetření mezi hospitalizovanými pacienty po kardiochirurgickém výkonu. Dotazník se zaměřoval na biologické, psychické a sociální aspekty péče a také na úroveň komunikace. Výsledky ukázaly velmi vysokou celkovou spokojenost pacientů, přičemž klíčovou roli hrála srozumitelná komunikace, psychická podpora a profesionální přístup sester. Hypotézy týkající se vlivu demografických údajů a délky hospitalizace na spokojenost nebyly potvrzeny. Zjištěné poznatky budou využity v praxi, zejména k posílení komunikačních dovedností sester a zkvalitnění poskytované péče. Na základě výsledků bude nabídnut seminář se simulační výukou, zaměřený na efektivní komunikaci, empatický přístup a práci s očekáváními pacientů. Práce přispívá k hlubšímu porozumění potřebám pacientů v kardiochirurgii a podpoře jejich spokojenosti během hospitalizace. The thesis focuses on patient satisfaction with nursing care provided after heart surgery. The aim of the thesis was to assess the level of satisfaction in selected cardiac surgery departments in the Czech Republic, to identify which aspects of care influence the postoperative course, and to explore patients' expectations of general nurses during hospitalization. The research was conducted using a quantitative method in the form of an anonymous questionnaire survey among patients hospitalized after cardiac surgery. The questionnaire focused on the biological, psychological, and social aspects of care, as well as the quality of communication.
The results showed a very high overall level of patient satisfaction. Key factors contributing to satisfaction included clear communication, psychological support, and the professional attitude of nurses. Hypotheses concerning the influence of demographic characteristics and length of hospitalization on satisfaction were not confirmed. The findings will be used in practice, especially to strengthen nurses' communication skills and improve the quality of care. Based on the results, a training seminar with simulation-based teaching will be offered, focusing on effective communication, an empathetic approach, and working with patients' expectations. The thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of patients' needs in cardiac surgery and supports the enhancement of their satisfaction during hospitalization.
