Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou pronační polohy z pohledu nelékařských zdravotnických pracovníků působících na anesteziologicko-resuscitačních odděleních. Teoretická část diplomové práce je psána tak, aby poskytla čtenáři komplexní přehled o pronační poloze a nemocemi s ní spojenými. V praktické části práce byly zvoleny tři hlavní cíle. K jejich naplnění byl využit kvalitativní i kvantitativní výzkum, který zahrnoval dvě metody: polostrukturovaný rozhovor a dotazníkové šetření. První dva cíle se zaměřovaly na kvalitativní výzkum, zatímco třetí cíl byl orientován na kvantitativní analýzu. V rámci kvalitativního výzkumu byly formulovány dvě výzkumné otázky. Do výzkumu bylo zapojeno sedm staničních či vrchních sester působících na anesteziologicko-resuscitačních odděleních ve vybraných nemocnicích Jihočeského kraje. Polostrukturovaný rozhovor obsahoval celkem 24 otázek a pokrýval širší spektrum témat. Kvantitativního výzkumu se zúčastnilo celkem 110 respondentů pracujících na anesteziologicko-resuscitačních odděleních z vybraných nemocnic Jihočeského kraje. K dosažení výše uvedeného cíle byly formulovány dvě hypotézy. Dotazníkové šetření, zahrnující 20 otázek, bylo zaměřeno na posouzení informovanosti zdravotnického personálu o pronační poloze s ohledem na jejich nejvyšší dosažené vzdělání a délku praxe. Na základě stanovených cílů jsme formulovali výzkumné otázky a hypotézy. Všechny tři cíle byly splněny, přestože jedna z hypotéz byla zamítnuta. Zároveň jsme získali odpovědi na všechny položené výzkumné otázky. Výsledky práce přinesly ucelený přehled o systémech pronační polohy a její četnosti ve vybraných nemocnicích. Kvantitativní analýza odhalila rozdíly mezi respondenty v oblasti pronační polohy, které souvisejí s jejich délkou praxe a nejvyšším dosaženým vzděláním. This thesis deals with the issue of prone positioning from the perspective of paramedical staff working in anaesthesiology and resuscitation departments. The theoretical part of the thesis is written to provide the reader with a comprehensive overview of the prone position and the diseases associated with it. Before writing the thesis, three main objectives were chosen. To fulfil them, qualitative and quantitative research was used, which included two methods: semi-structured interview and questionnaire survey. The first two objectives focused on qualitative research, while the third objective focused on quantitative analysis. In the qualitative research, two research questions were formulated. Seven station or head nurses working in anaesthesiology and resuscitation departments in selected hospitals of the South Bohemia Region were involved in the research. The semi-structured interview contained a total of 24 questions and covered a wider range of topics. A total of 110 respondents working in anaesthesiology-resuscitation departments from selected hospitals in the South Bohemia Region participated in the quantitative research. Two hypotheses were formulated in order to achieve the aforementioned goal. The questionnaire survey, comprising 20 questions, was aimed at assessing the awareness of medical personnel about pronation with respect to their highest educational level and length of experience. Based on the stated objectives, we formulated research questions and hypotheses. All three objectives were met, although one of the hypotheses was rejected. We also obtained answers to all the research questions posed. The results of the study provided a comprehensive overview of prone positioning systems and its frequency in the selected hospitals. Quantitative analysis revealed differences among respondents in prone positioning related to their length of experience and highest educational attainment.
