Bakalářská práce se zabývá projevy queer estetiky a kurátorských strategií v české výstavní praxi po roce 2000 a jak reagují na institucionální a společenské limity reprezentace homosexuálních témat. Teoretický rámec práce vychází z queer teorie, zejména z konceptu performativity, jak jej představila teoretička Judith Butler. Tento koncept je pak aplikován na vizuální umění, kde se propojí teorie s praxí. V práci je toto umění zastoupeno fenomény drag a camp. Dále práce tematizuje problematiku samotných institucionálních prostor spojenou s jejich exkluzivitou podporující normativitu. Metodologicky je práce založena na kombinaci teoretické reflexe, která byla naznačen výše a příkladové analýzy. Analytickou část práce tvoří interpretace dvou výstav: Art. Do. Drag (2023) a Queer Ecologies (2024), které byly realizovány v rámci festivalu Prague Pride. Tyto výstavy slouží jako příkladné ukázky reprezentace queer umění a uplatnění queer kurátorství mimo rámec tradičních výstavních institucí. This bachelor's thesis examines the manifestations of queer aesthetics and curatorial strategies in Czech exhibition practices after the year 2000, focusing on how they respond to institutional and societal limitations in the representation of homosexual themes. The theoretical framework is based on queer theory, particularly the concept of performativity as developed by theorist Judith Butler. This concept is then applied to visual art, connecting theory with practice. The art in this thesis is represented by the phenomena of drag and camp. Furthermore, the thesis addresses the issue of institutional spaces themselves, linked to their exclusivity which reinforces normative structures. Methodologically, the thesis is based on a combination of theoretical reflection, as outlined above, and exemplary analysis. The analytical part consists of an interpretation of two exhibitions: Art. Do. Drag (2023) and Queer Ecologies (2024), both realized within the Prague Pride festival. These exhibitions serve as exemplary cases of queer art representation and the application of queer curatorial practices outside the framework of traditional exhibition institutions.
