Cílem práce je zmapovat současnou mluvu argentinské mládeže se zaměřením na užívání inovativních lexikálních prostředků. Teoretickými východisky pro výzkum jsou vybrané kapitoly z lexikologie a sociolingvistiky, které se týkají slovotvorby, jazykové variace, problematiky určení věkových kategorií pro jazykové výzkumy nebo otázce identity. Tyto faktory, které determinují mluvu současné argentinské mládeže, jsou posléze reflektovány v rámci sociolingvistického výzkumu provedeného v Buenos Aires. Empirická část této práce se skládá z dotazníkového šetření realizovaného in situ a autentických rozhovorů s argentinskou mládeží a tamějšími jazykovědci. Na základě vyvozených závěrů je sestaven glosář vybraných lexikálních prostředků aktuálně užívaných argentinskou mládeží. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the contemporary speech of Argentine youth with a focus on the use of innovative lexical devices. The theoretical bases for the research are selected chapters from lexicology and sociolinguistics, which concern word formation, linguistic variation, the problem of determining age categories for linguistic research or the identity. These factors, which determine the speech of contemporary Argentine youth, are then reflected upon in the sociolinguistic research, which was carried out in Buenos Aires. The empirical part of this work consists of a questionnaire survey conducted in situ and authentic interviews with Argentine youth and local linguists. Based on the conclusions, a glossary of selected lexical resources currently used by Argentine youth is compiled.
