Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na osobnost Jindřicha Šimona Baara, jeho život, literární tvorbu a duchovní působení. Cílem práce je nejen shrnout Baarův literární odkaz, ale také upozornit na jeho pastorační činnost, která je v odborné literatuře často opomíjena. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na Baarovo působení v obci Klobuky v Čechách, kde strávil deset let jako farář a kde jeho práce ovlivnila nejen farní komunitu, ale i jeho vlastní literární témata. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních částí. První se věnuje Baarovu mládí, studiu a obecnému kulturnímu a sociálnímu kontextu jeho doby. Druhá část popisuje jeho literární dráhu, rozdělení tvorby a vztah ke Katolické moderně. Třetí část se soustřeďuje na jeho pobyt v Klobukách, kde popisuje historický vývoj obce, Baarovu pastorační činnost, kázání a literární tvorbu v tomto období. Ve čtvrté části jsou představeny výsledky výzkumu založeného na analýze archivních materiálů, dotazníkovém šetření a osobním rozhovoru s pamětníkem Vladimírem Procházkou. Výsledky práce ukazují, že Baarovo působení v Klobukách bylo nejen důležité pro jeho literární tvorbu, ale také pro rozvoj farnosti a duchovní život místních obyvatel. Tento aspekt jeho života si zaslouží větší pozornost v historických studiích. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the personality of Jindřich Šimon Baar, his life, literary work and spiritual influence. The aim of the work is not only to summarize Baar's literary legacy, but also to draw attention to his pastoral work, which is often neglected in professional literature. Special emphasis is placed on Baar's work in the village of Klobuky in Bohemia, where he spent ten years as a parish priest and where his work influenced not only the parish community but also his own literary themes. The work is divided into four main parts. The first deals with Baar's youth, studies, and the general cultural and social context of his time. The second part describes his literary career, the division of his work and his relationship to Catholic Modernism. The third part focuses on his stay in Klobuky, where it describes the historical development of the village, Baar's pastoral activities, sermons, and literary work during this period. The fourth part presents the results of research based on the analysis of archival materials, a questionnaire survey, and a personal interview with eyewitness Vladimír Procházka. The results show that Baar's work in Klobuky was not only important for his literary work, but also for the development of the parish and the spiritual life of the local population. This aspect of his life deserves more attention in historical studies.
