Tato bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí: překladu 3. kapitoly Compulsory Sexuality and (Male) Aseuxal Existence a části 8. kapitoly The Good Enough Reason z knihy Ace: What Asexuality Reveals About Desire, Society, and the Meaning of Sex americké novinářky Angely Chen a z komentáře k překladu. Součástí komentáře je překladatelská analýza výchozího textu, popis metody překladu a popis vybraných překladatelských problémů, postupů a posunů, ke kterým v důsledku převodu do cílového jazyka došlo. This bachelor thesis consists of two parts: the translation of Chapter 3 Compulsory Sexuality and (Male) Asexual Existence and a part of Chapter 8 The Good Enough Reason from Ace: What Asexuality Reveals About Desire, Society, and the Meaning of Sex by American journalist Angela Chen, as well as a commentary of the translation. The commentary contains a translation-oriented text analysis, a description of the translation method and a description of translation problems, procedures, and shifts that arose as a result of the translation into the target language.
