Předkládaná bakalářská práce se věnuje osobě Oldřicha Pluha, jenž byl v pozdějších letech svého života uváděn s predikátem "z Rabštejna". Byl představitelem jihočeského nižšího šlechtice, který dosáhl kariéry a vlivného postavení na dvoře Jana Lucemburského. Cílem bádání je analyzovat životní pouť tohoto šlechtice, co nejvíce ji zasadit do dobového kontextu, a především rozkrýt příčiny společenského vzestupu, kterým Pluh prošel před svým příchodem na dvůr i během své kariéry v králových službách. Hlavní důraz je kladen na období, které strávil na královském dvoře a kde postupně získával jednotlivé funkce a úřady a integroval se mezi dvořany. Vyzdvižena je i jeho majetková situace, především získání zboží Rabštejn nad Střelou v 30. letech 14. století. Práce v krátkosti mapuje i příbuzenské vztahy Oldřicha Pluha, stejně tak jako poměr rodiny Pluhů k pánům z Hradce. He was a representative of a South Bohemian nobleman who achieved a career and an influential position at the court of John of Bohemia. The aim of this research is to analyse the life journey of this nobleman, to place it as far as possible in the contemporary context and, above all, to reveal the reasons for the social rise that Pluh underwent before his arrival at court and during his career in the king's service. The main emphasis is on the period he spent at the royal court, where he gradually acquired various positions and offices and integrated himself among the courtiers. His property situation is also highlighted, especially the acquisition of the goods Rabštejn nad Střelou in the 1330s. The work also briefly maps Oldřich Pluh's family relations, as well as the relationship of the Pluh family to the lords of Hradec.
