Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu románu Dubnové slunce (A Floresta em Bremerhaven, 1975) od portugalské spisovatelky Olgy Gonçalves. Práce se zabývá tématem porevolučních návratů do Portugalska, přičemž klade důraz na literární zpracování zkušenosti návratu, ztráty domova a hledání identity. Prostřednictvím analýzy jazykových a stylistických prostředků, fragmentarizované narativní struktury a introspektivního přístupu k postavám práce zkoumá, jak autorka reflektuje hluboký osobní a kolektivní proces návratu a s ním spojené emocionální a identitární napětí. Teoretická část práce se věnuje historickému a společenskému kontextu Portugalska 70. let, včetně autoritářského režimu Estado Novo, karafiátové revoluce a následné demokratizace země. Zahrnuje také přehled portugalské migrace, včetně fenoménu retornados - navrátilců z bývalých kolonií - a ekonomických migrantů, kteří se vrátili z evropských zemí. Cílem práce je lépe porozumět literárnímu významu románu Dubnové slunce jako textu, který zachycuje komplexní zkušenost návratu a hledání nového místa v proměněné společnosti, a zároveň přispět k pochopení portugalské kulturní identity v období hlubokých společenských změn po roce 1974. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the novel A Floresta em Bremerhaven (1975) by the Portuguese writer Olga Gonçalves. The work examines the theme of post-revolutionary returns to Portugal, emphasizing the literary depiction of the experience of return, loss of home, and search for identity. Through the analysis of linguistic and stylistic devices, fragmented narrative structure, and introspective approach to characters, the thesis explores how the author reflects the deep personal and collective process of return, along with the associated emotional and identity tensions. The theoretical part of the thesis addresses the historical and social context of 1970s Portugal, including the authoritarian Estado Novo regime, the Carnation Revolution, and the subsequent democratization of the country. It also includes an overview of Portuguese migration, covering the phenomenon of retornados - returnees from former colonies - and economic migrants who returned from European countries. The aim of this thesis is to provide a better understanding of the literary significance of A Floresta em Bremerhaven as a text that captures the complex experience of return and the search for a new place in a transformed society, while also contributing to the understanding of Portuguese cultural identity...
