[Diplomová práce se zabývá historickou toponymií na příkladu rakovnické urbanonymie. Zaměřuje se na pojmenovávání ulic, náměstí a veřejných prostranství v Rakovníku od čtyřicátých let 19. století do současnosti. Shrnuje a popisuje, kdy, a za jakých okolností docházelo k přejmenování rakovnických ulic, náměstí a veřejných prostranství. Je rozdělena do tří částí. První část je chronologicky rozdělena na podkapitoly podle časových období, ve kterých docházelo k jednotlivým změnám. Druhá část práce analyzuje sesbíraná data a věnuje se zásadám pojmenovávání, motivaci, základním onymickým funkcím urbanonymií a výskytu jednotlivých uličních názvů. Práce shrnuje problematiku honorifkačních jmen a je provedena aplikace konceptu "Míst paměti" od Pierra Nory na systém rakovnických ulic. Závěrem práce je popis vývoje jednotlivých typů názvů, které se postupně vyskytovaly v Rakovníku.] [The diploma thesis deals with historical toponymy on the example of Rakovník urbanonymy. It focuses on the naming of streets, squares and public spaces in Rakovník from the 1840s to the present. It summarizes and describes when and under what circumstances Rakovník streets, squares and public spaces were renamed. It is divided into three parts. The first part is chronologically divided into subchapters according to the time periods in which individual changes occurred. The second part of the thesis analyzes the collected data and deals with the principles of naming, motivation, basic onymical functions of urbanonyms and the occurrence of individual street names. The thesis summarizes the issue of honorific names and applies the concept of "Places of Memory" by Pierre Nora to the system of Rakovník streets. The thesis concludes with a description of the development of individual types of names that gradually appeared in Rakovník.]
