Diplomová práce se zabývá tím, jak ženy v online prostředí diskutují o volbě mezi prací, mateřstvím a slaďováním obou rolí. Cílem práce bylo porozumět tomu, jak ženy vnímají kombinaci mateřství a profesního života a jaké postoje, zkušenosti a motivace v této souvislosti popisují. Práce je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu využívajícím principy zakotvené teorie. Ta umožnila postupné vytváření kategorií přímo z komentářů a rozhovorů. V první fázi byla provedena analýza komentářů pod vybranými příspěvky na Instagramovém profilu @kabatnice, přičemž komentáře poskytly široké spektrum spontánních reakcí žen na mateřství a práci. V druhé fázi byly analyzovány polostrukturované rozhovory z knihy Máma má práci, které nabídly hlubší vhled do individuálních zkušeností žen a doplnily poznatky z online prostředí. Výsledky ukázaly, že prožívání mateřství hraje klíčovou roli v rozhodování o pracovním zapojení během rodičovské dovolené. Ženy prožívají mateřství různorodě a jejich postoje jsou ovlivněny jak osobními, tak i společenskými faktory. Analýza rovněž potvrdila, že online prostředí může fungovat jako důležité podpůrné místo, kde ženy otevřeně sdílejí zkušenosti a názory na témata, o nichž se v běžném životě často nemluví, a vytvářejí tím prostor pro vzájemnou podporu a normalizaci různorodých mateřských... This master's thesis examines how women in an online environment discuss the choice between work, motherhood, and balancing both roles. The aim of this thesis was to understand how women perceive the combination of motherhood and professional life, and what attitudes, experiences, and motivations they describe in this context. The research is based on a qualitative study using the principles of grounded theory, which enabled the gradual development of categories directly from comments and interviews. In the first part, an analysis of comments under selected posts on the Instagram profile @kabatnice was conducted, with the comments providing a broad range of spontaneous reactions from women on the topics of motherhood and work. In the second part, semi-structured interviews from the book Máma má práci were analyzed, offering deeper insight into individual women's experiences and complementing the findings from the online environment. The results showed that the experience of motherhood plays a crucial role in decision-making regarding employment during parental leave. Women experience motherhood in diverse ways, and their attitudes are influenced by both personal and societal factors.
