Diplomová práce se zabývá meziválečným školstvím na Rakovnicku, popisuje činnost školního inspektora Jana Malocha a následně porovnává školství ve zmíněné době se současnou situací v oblasti školství. V teoretické části práce je vyobrazen historický kontext zaměřený na meziválečné školství v Československu, uvádí klíčové školské reformy a zákony. Věnuje se v obecném rozsahu školské legislativě a inspektorské činnosti. Následné kapitoly práce analyzují historické prameny vztahující se k osobě Jana Malocha a meziválečnému školství na Rakovnicku. Na základě získaných zdrojů práce popisuje činnost školního inspektora Jana Malocha, jeho cíle, usilovnou činnost o změny a směřování československého školství na obecných a měšťanských školách v daném okresu. Zbylé kapitoly se zabývají proměnami československého "později českého" školství vlivem politicko-kulturních změn a následně využívají a propojují poznatky z předešlých kapitol práce. V závěru práce je shrnuta inspektorská činnost Jana Malocha ve všech aspektech vnější i vnitřní správy v oblasti školství. Výsledkem práce je porovnání názorů a trendů ve školství v průběhu jednoho století. Klíčová slova: inspektor, inspekce, školství, historie, meziválečné období, rakovnicko, výchova, vzdělávání, vlastivědné deníky This diploma thesis deals with interwar education in Rakovník District, it describes activities of school inspector Jan Maloch. Afterwards, it compares education in the mentioned time period with the current situation in the field of education. The theoretical part depicts the historical context focused on the interwar education in Czechoslovakia, it introduces key school reforms and laws. It is dedicated to general scope of school legislation and inspection activities. Following chapters of the thesis analyze historical sources connected to the personality of Jan Maloch. Based on the collected sources, the thesis describes activities of school inspector Jan Maloch, his aims, hard work for changes and directing czechoslovakian education in primary and middle schools in the selected region. The remaining chapters focus on changes of czechoslovakian, later czech education influenced by political-cultular changes and consequently use and connect knowledge from the previous chapters of the thesis. In the conclusion of the thesis is a summary of inspector activities of Jan Maloch in all aspects of external and internal administration in the education field.
