cze Abstract:
Výzkum byl realizován prostřednictvím případové studie kombinující kvalitativní rozhovory s recidivujícími absolventy a pracovníky vězeňské služby a doplněn analýzou kvantitativních dat z VIS. Práce doporučuje důslednější a jednotnou implementaci programu a systematickou postpenitenciární péči, která by podpořila dlouhodobou úspěšnou reintegraci odsouzených a snížení rizika recidivy. This thesis focuses on the analysis of recidivism among graduates of the Good - Lives Model rehabilitation program in Czech prisons and on identifying the factors contributing to its failure. The aim was to understand the mechanisms leading to recidivism and to reveal weaknesses in the program's implementation. The research was conducted through a case study combining qualitative interviews with recidivist graduates and prison staff, supplemented by an analysis of quantitative data from the VIS system. The findings showed that the main problem is the lack of support for offenders after release, especially during critical life situations. Recidivism often does not stem from a lack of motivation, but from insufficient coping strategies and the absence of professional assistance. Other identified shortcomings include inconsistent implementation quality across different prisons, which weakens the program's overall impact. The thesis recommends ensuring more consistent implementation and systematic post- penitentiary support to promote successful long-term reintegration and reduce the risk of recidivism. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of recidivism risk factors in the Czech prison environment. They highlight the importance of continuous support for released individuals and open space...
