Tato práce se věnuje filmu Barbie (2023) a reflektování jeho hodnot a témat českými filmový publicisty a publicistkami. Text se zaobírá panenkou Barbie jako kulturním fenoménem s dlouholetou tradicí a vybudovanou pozicí na světovém trhu. Ve výkladu feministického hnutí se zaměřuje na české a angloamerické prostředí, v případě výzkumné části práce pak výhradně na české mediální prostředí. Práce nahlíží na konstrukci filmu skrze feministickou filmovou teorii a popisuje úskalí reprezentace ženských postav ve filmu. Panenku Barbie poté popisuje jak z pohledu jejího historického vývoje, tak z pohledu českého prostředí, do kterého ji zasazuje. Kvalitativní výzkum se skládá z tematické analýzy recenzí, které k filmu Barbie vyšly v českých online zpravodajských médiích bezprostředně po jeho vydání, a z polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s některými z autorů recenzí. Z výsledků tematické analýzy vyplývá, že čeští filmový publicisté ve svých recenzích neakcentovali feministická témata filmu. Polostrukturované rozhovory však umožnily prostor pro hlubší zkoumání postojů recenzentů kfeministickým tezím ve filmu a jejich zpracování, díky čemuž zvýsledků vyplynulo, že feministická linka filmu byla recenzenty interpretována různorodě a často závisela na osobních postojích jednotlivých autorů k samotnému feminismu. This thesis focuses on the film Barbie (2023) and the reflection of its values and themes by Czech film publicists. The text deals with the Barbie doll as a cultural phenomenon with a long tradition and an established position on the world market. In the interpretation of the feminist movement, it focuses on the Czech and Anglo-American environment, while in the case of the research part of the thesis it focuses exclusively on the Czech media environment. The thesis looks at the construction of film through feminist film theory and describes the pitfalls of representing female characters in film. It then describes the Barbie doll both in terms of its historical development and the Czech environment in which it is set. The qualitative research consists of a thematic analysis of reviews of Barbie published in the Czech online news media immediately after its release and semi-structured interviews with some of the authors of the reviews. The results of the thematic analysis show that Czech film publicists did not emphasize feminist themes in their reviews of the film. The semi-structured interviews, however, allowed room for a deeper exploration of the reviewers' attitudes towards feminist theses in the film and their illustration, which made it clear that the feminist line of the film was interpreted...
