Bakalářská práce se zabývá kostelem sv. Prokopa v Chotouni, který jakožto dílo Jana Blažeje Santiniho-Aichela patří k nejzajímavějším barokním stavbám na Kolínsku, přičemž jejím cílem je dané téma zpracovat komplexně, jak z hlediska historického, tak z hlediska architektonického. V souvislosti s okolnostmi vzniku stavby je krátce pojednáno i o postavě sv. Prokopa a obci Chotouň, jakožto jeho rodišti a místu úcty. Hlavní část práce se pak věnuje samotnému kostelu, jeho výstavbě, architektonické podobě a také začlenění do kontextu tvorby Santiniho, jehož autorství se dříve pokládalo za problematické, jak ukazuje odborná literatura. Jedním z dílčích úkolů této práce tedy je i snaha vysvětlit jisté rozpory a nejasnosti v jednotlivých publikacích, týkající se konkrétního působení architekta i datace kostela a jeho pozdějších úprav. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the church of St. Procopius in Chotouň, which, as the work of Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel, belongs to the most interesting Baroque buildings in the Kolín District, and its aim is to deal with the given topic comprehensively, both from a historical and an architectural point of view. In connection with the circumstances of the creation of the building, the figure of St. Procopius and the village of Chotouň, as his birthplace and place of piety, are briefly discussed. The main part of the thesis focuses on the church itself, its construction and architectural form, as well as its inclusion in the context of the work of Santini, whose authorship was previously considered problematic, as shown in the professional literature. One of the sub-tasks of this thesis is an effort to clarify certain discrepancies in publications, regarding the specific activity of the architect and the dating of the construction of the church and its later modifications.
