Ocasatí obojživelníci představují atraktivní skupinu pro zkoumání vývoje jednotlivých struktur v dutině ústní, které jsou důležité nejen pro příjem a identifikaci potravy, ale i k dýchání nebo obraně. Dutina ústní, zuby a chuťové pohárky vznikají na pomezí všech zárodečných vrstev a jejich vývoj se navzájem ovlivňuje. K vývoji dutiny ústní je u ocasatých obojživelníků potřeba stomodeální límec, který tvoří ektoderm pokrývající orální masu entodermu. Zuby mohou vznikat jak z epitelu entodermu, tak ektodermu a pro jejich vývoj je zásadní dentální lamina tvořena dvěma vrstvami buněk. Ocasatí obojživelníci vykazují dentici polyfyodontní, což znamená, že se jim chrup neustále obměňuje, a tak pozornost přitahuje i proces nahrazování a výměny zubů, nebo také morfologická přeměna zubů po metamorfóze. Co se týče chuťových pohárků, ty by nevznikly bez indukce z orofaryngeálního entodermu. Právě chuťové pohárky mohou společně se zuby sdílet společný evoluční původ. Práce shrnuje jednak vývojovou, ale i morfologickou rozmanitost jednotlivých struktur, ale taky se snaží popsat, jak na sebe struktury dutiny ústní během ontogeneze působí a vzájemně se ovlivňují. Klíčová slova: dutina ústní, zuby, chuťové pohárky Salamanders represent an interesting group for studying the development of individual structures in the oral cavity, which are important not only for feeding and identifying food, but also for respiration or defense. The oral cavity, teeth and taste buds arise at the boundary of all germ layers and their development influences each other. For the development of the oral cavity in salamanders, a stomodeal collar is required, which is formed by ectoderm covering the oral mass of endoderm. Teeth can originate from both endodermal and ectodermal epithelium, and their development critically depends on the dental lamina, which is composed of two layers of cells. Salamanders exhibit polyphyodont dentition, meaning their teeth are continuously replaced, drawing attention to the processes of tooth replacement and renewal, as well as the morphological transformation of teeth following metamorphosis. Regarding the taste buds, they would not form without induction from the oropharyngeal endoderm. Taste buds may, in fact, share a common evolutionary origin with teeth. The study summarizes both the developmental and morphological diversity of individual structures but also attempts to describe how the structures of the oral cavity interact and influence each other during ontogenesis.
