Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na úlohu vězeňské duchovní péče v procesu reintegrace osob propuštěných z výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. V teoretické části sleduje proměny v uvažování o účelu trestání od starověkých principů přes humanizační snahy osvícenství až po současné přístupy kladoucí důraz na přípravu odsouzeného na návrat do společnosti. Následně představuje známá rizika ovlivňující úspěšnost reintegračního procesu, zejména absenci sociálního zázemí, přijetí identity kriminálníka a nedostatek finančních prostředků, ale i další související faktory. Podrobně dále představuje podstatu a konkrétní formy vězeňské duchovní péče a nastiňuje oblasti, ve kterých působí. Praktická část je postavena na kvalitativním výzkumu využívajícím hloubkové rozhovory se čtyřmi jedinci, kteří se během výkonu trestu setkaly s působením duchovní péče. Získané výpovědi jsou analyzovány pomocí metody interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy (IPA), která umožňuje zachytit hloubku osobní zkušenosti. Každý rozhovor je nejprve představen samostatně s využitím doplňujících autentických citací respondentů, jež vystupují pod pseudonymy Adam, David, Ondřej a Nathan. V druhé fázi analýzy jsou mezi rozhovory nalezena propojení, která jsou následně seskupena do vyšších tematických celků, jimž jsou věnovány podkapitoly Hodnota... The thesis focuses on the role of prison spiritual care in the reintegration process of individuals released from imprisonment. The theoretical part traces the transformations in the understanding of the purpose of punishment from ancient principles through the humanizing efforts of the Enlightenment to contemporary approaches emphasizing the preparation of prisoners for their return to society. It then presents the known risks affecting the success of reintegration, particularly the absence of social support, the acceptance of criminal identity and lack of financial resources, as well as other related factors. It further provides a detailed description of the essence and specific forms of prison spiritual care and outlines the areas in which it operates. The practical part is based on qualitative research using in-depth interviews with four individuals who had experienced the effects of prison spiritual care during their imprisonment. The testimonies obtained are analyzed using the method of Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), which makes it possible to capture the depth of personal experience.
