Neuspokojená potřeba zdravotní péče představuje situaci, kdy jedinec pociťuje potřebu zdravotních služeb, avšak z různých důvodů ji nevyužije. Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza faktorů ovlivňujících vznik neuspokojené potřeby zdravotní péče u dospělé populace v Česku. Výzkum vychází z dat Evropského výběrového šetření o zdraví 2019, která jsou zpracována pomocí metod deskriptivní statistiky a binární logistické regrese, jejichž cílem je identifikovat faktory významně spojené s výskytem neuspokojené potřeby zdravotní péče. Součástí analýzy je také srovnání s ostatními evropskými zeměmi. Výsledky ukazují, že výskyt neuspokojené potřeby zdravotní péče významně souvisí se sociodemografickými a socioekonomickými faktory, zejména s příjmem, vzděláním, regionem a typem urbanizace. Vyšší riziko bylo zaznamenáno u žen, osob ve středním věku a u jednotlivců bez partnera. Významným prediktorem byla také funkční omezení v každodenních činnostech a negativní subjektivní hodnocení vlastního zdraví. Z faktorů životního stylu se jako relevantní ukázaly především kouření a extrémní hodnoty BMI, zatímco výsledky týkající se konzumace alkoholu byly méně jednoznačné. Unmet healthcare needs refer to situations where an individual perceives the need for healthcare services but does not use them for various reasons. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the factors influencing the occurrence of unmet healthcare needs in the adult population of Czechia. The research is based on data from the European Health Interview Survey 2019, which are processed using descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression methods, aimed at identifying factors significantly associated with the occurrence of unmet healthcare needs. The analysis also includes a comparison with other European countries. The results show that the occurrence of unmet healthcare needs is significantly related to sociodemographic and socioeconomic factors, particularly income, education, region, and type of settlement. A higher risk was recorded among women, middle-aged individuals, and those without a partner. A significant predictor was also functional limitations in daily activities and negative self- assessment of health. Lifestyle factors, particularly smoking and extreme BMI values, proved to be relevant, while results regarding alcohol consumption were less conclusive.
