Tato diplomová práce se zabývá územím Pelc-Tyrolky v Praze a jeho vnímáním studujícími jako ambivalentního a vágního prostoru, v němž se střetává (ne)zájem oficiálních plánovacích (infra)struktur s neformálními procesy a zkušenostmi každodenních uživatelů*ek. Cílem práce je zachytit vnímání a prožívání tohoto prostoru očima studujících, a to na základě kvalitativního terénního výzkumu a tzv. chodící metodologie. Práce ukazuje, jaké významy vznikají prostřednictvím každodenních interakcí s více-než-lidskými aktéry*kami a jak tyto interakce přispívají k utváření městského prostoru. Závěr práce otevírá otázku, zda je kultivace podobných míst nezbytná, nebo zda jejich hodnota spočívá právě v jejich nejednoznačnosti a otevřenosti vůči alternativním způsobům využití. klíčová slova: infrastruktury, vágní terény, městská divočina, urbánní plánování, environmentální antropologie This thesis explores the area of Pelc-Tyrolka in Prague and how it is perceived by students as an ambivalent and vague terrain where the (dis)interest of official planning (infra)structures intersects with informal processes and the everyday experiences of its users. The aim of the thesis is to capture students perception and lived experience of this space, with the use of qualitative field research and the so-called walking methodology. The thesis shows how meanings emerge through everyday interactions with more-than-human actors and how these interactions contribute to the formation of urban space. In conclusion, the thesis raises the question of whether cultivating such spaces is necessary, or whether their value lies precisely in their ambiguity and openness to alternative forms of use. key words: infrastructures, vague terrains, urban wilderness, urban planning, environmental anthropology
