Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem zaměstnávání na kvalitu života klientů chráněného bydlení pro osoby s mentálním postižením. Cílem předkládané práce je zjistit, zda zaměstnávání těchto klientů má vliv na jejich kvalitu života. V teoretické části práce jsou prezentovány poznatky týkající se problematiky mentálního postižení, vývoje vztahu společnosti k lidem s postižením, jejich zaměstnávání, sociální služby a pojem kvality života právě v kontextu mentálního postižení. V praktické části jsou interpretovány výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s klienty chráněného bydlení. Analýza výsledků výzkumu přináší zjištění ohledně vlivu zaměstnávání na kvalitu života klientů chráněného bydlení pro osoby s mentálním postižením, která doplňují poznatky uvedené v teoretické části The Impact of Employment on the Quality of life of Clients in Supported Housing for People with Intellectual Disabilities. The diploma thesis deals with the influence of employment on the quality of life of clients of sheltered housing for people with mental disabilities. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether employing these clients has an impact on their quality of life. The theoretical part of the thesis presents knowledge related to the issue of intellectual disability, the development of society's approach to people with disabilities, their employment, social services, and the concept of quality of life in the context of intellectual disability. In the practical part, the results of qualitative research are interpreted, which was carried out in the form of a semi-structured interview with clients of sheltered housing. The analysis of the research results brings findings regarding the influence of employment on the quality of life of clients of sheltered housing for people with intellectual disabilities, which complement the knowledge presented in the theoretical part.
