Diplomová práce zkoumá, jakým způsobem skauting formoval subjektivitu Ivana Makáska. Vychází z post-pozitivistického paradigmatu orální historie a opírá se o rozhovory s protagonistou i jeho blízkými. Nejde o objektivní rekonstrukci minulosti, ale o analýzu významů, které narátor klíčovým událostem přisuzuje ve svém vyprávění. Zásadní roli v jeho narativu hrají epifanické zážitky - vyloučení z Foglarova oddílu a složení skautského slibu - jež představují přerody v sebepojetí. Skauting je uchopen jako kulturní forma občanského náboženství, které zásadně ovlivňuje identitní rámec narátora. Makásek se v tomto rámci nestává pouze nositelem hodnot, ale také jejich aktivním tvůrcem - zakládá vlastní oddíl Neskenon, jehož specifická symbolika a program ovlivnily řadu dalších skautských a příbuzných uskupení. This thesis explores how Scouting shaped the subjectivity of Ivan Makásek. It draws on the post-positivist paradigm of oral history and is based on interviews with the narrator and his close circle. Rather than aiming for an objective reconstruction of the past, the work focuses on the meanings Makásek assigns to key life events in his narrative. Central attention is given to epiphanic experiences-his exclusion from Jaroslav Foglar's troop and the taking of the Scout oath-which mark turning points in his self- perception. Scouting is examined as a cultural form of civil religion that profoundly influences the narrator's identity framework. Within this framework, Makásek emerges not only as a bearer of values, but also as a creator of his own form of Scouting: he founded the distinctive Neskenon troop, whose symbolic and programmatic elements significantly influenced other Scout and nature-oriented groups.
