Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zájmem veřejnosti o určování bezobratlých živočichů, který byl zkoumán prostřednictvím příspěvků zveřejněných ve skupině Určování bezobratlých na sociální síti Facebook v období od 1. září 2023 do 31. srpna 2024. Tato veřejná skupina má v současné době přes 34 tisíc členů, kterým poskytuje možnost dotazovat se na determinaci živočichů na základě přiložené fotografie. Analyzováno bylo celkem 11 550 příspěvků. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, kteří bezobratlí živočichové přitahují největší pozornost členů zmíněné skupiny a jak se zájem o určování těchto organismů mění v průběhu roku. Dále bylo zkoumáno, jaké důvody vedou členy skupiny k položení dotazu k určení daných živočichů a zda vůči nim projevují spíše pozitivní či negativní emoce. Výsledky ukazují, že nejčastěji se lidé dotazovali na určení členovců (více než 89 % položených dotazů). V průběhu roku bylo nejvíce příspěvků sdíleno v jarních a letních měsících, zatímco pokles zájmu o určování nastal v zimě. Nejčastěji se objevujícím důvodem vedoucím k žádosti o určení živočicha byla kategorie "ověření", kdy lidé pokládali své dotazy s již utvořenou představou (často nesprávnou), o který druh živočicha se může jednat. Ačkoli lidé často své emoce vůči živočichům v příspěvku nevyjádřili, projevy pozitivních emocí převažují... This thesis explores the public interest in identifying invertebrates, which was studied through posts published in the Facebook group "Určování bezobratlých" (Invertebrate identification) from September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024. This public group currently has over 34,000 members, providing them the opportunity to inquire about the identification of animals based on an attached photograph. A total of 11,550 posts have been analyzed. The main objective was to determine which invertebrates attract the most attention from the group's members and how the interest in identifying these organisms changes throughout the year. Additionally, the study examined the reasons why group members ask for the identification of these animals and whether they express predominantly positive or negative emotions towards them. The results show that people most frequently inquired about the identification of arthropods (more than 89% of the questions asked). Throughout the year, the most posts were shared in the spring and summer months, whereas a decline in interest was observed in winter. The most common reason for requesting animal identification was the "verification" category, where people asked questions with a pre-formed notion (often incorrect) of which species it might be.
