Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá regionální identitou Rožmitálska. Jejím hlavním cílem je analýza identity regionu, regionální identity obyvatel a percepčních regionů. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována analýze rozdílů v závislosti na pohlaví a věku obyvatel. Práce k dosažení těchto cílů využívá data získaná prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. První část práce se zabývá základními teoretickými východisky studia regionální identity a percepčních regionů. V druhé části je představeno zájmové území a metodika práce, na niž navazuje analýza získaných dat. Výsledky ukazují silnou míru identifikace s regionem jak z hlediska preference regionu na základě emocionálních vazeb, tak i pocitu hrdosti na region. Opuštění regionu zvažuje zhruba pětina obyvatel a míra potenciální migrace potvrzuje celospolečenský trend, neboť výrazným způsobem klesá s přibývajícím věkem. Identita Rožmitálska je postavena především na významných historických osobnostech, památkách a krajině, které zároveň představují hlavní předpoklad rozvoje cestovního ruchu v regionu. Percepční regiony jednotlivých věkových kategorií naznačují, že se vnímaná rozloha regionu zvětšuje s přibývajícím věkem. Hranice percepčních regionů často kopírují hranici brdských lesů na jihu, západě a severu. Brdské lesy jsou tak mnoha respondenty vnímány... The submitted thesis focuses on the regional identity of the Rožmitál Region (Central Bohemia). Its principal objective is to analyse the identity of the region, the regional identity of its inhabitants and perceptual regions. Special attention is paid to the analysis of differences depending on the sex and age of the inhabitants. To achieve these objectives, the thesis uses data obtained through a questionnaire survey. The first part of the thesis deals with the key theoretical foundations of the study of regional identity and perceptual regions. The second part presents the area of interest and the research methodology, followed by an analysis of the collected data. The results show a strong degree of identification with the region, both in terms of preference for the region based on emotional ties and a sense of pride in the region. Approximately one fifth of the inhabitants consider leaving the region, and the rate of potential migration confirms a general societal trend, as it significantly decreases with increasing age. The identity of the Rožmitál Region is primarily based on significant historical figures, cultural monuments, and the surrounding landscape, which also represent the main prerequisites for the development of tourism in the region.
