Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou podvýkonnosti u nadaných vysokoškolských studentů a studentek v kontextu modelu tzv. Cest k podvýkonnosti (Pathways to Underachievement Model, PUM; Snyder & Linnenbrink-Garcia, 2013). Cílem výzkumu bylo identifikovat rizikové profily u nadaných jedinců, kteří mohou vykazovat tendence k podvýkonnosti, a ověřit, zda se hypotetické předpoklady modelu PUM potvrzují ve vysokoškolském kontextu. Teoretická číst se zabývá koncepty nadání a podvýkonnosti. Jsou probrány různé charakteristiky nadaných jedinců a rizikové faktory, které mohou vést k podvýkonu. Výzkum byl realizován dotazníkovým šetřením, kterého se účastnili studující vysokých škol se změřeným IQ>130 (N=153, Mvěk = 23.8, 57,5 % žen). Dotazník zahrnoval baterii škál měřící vnímanou podvýkonnost (PAUS), akademickou motivaci (SAMS), spjatost sebehodnoty (CSWS), nastavení mysli (TIS), očekávání od vyššího vzdělávání (HEES), resilienci (BRCS) a sociální podporu (SSS). Výsledky Latentní analýzy profilů (LPA) identifikovaly 4 profily, z čehož 2 odpovídají teoretizovaným Cestám k podvýkonnosti podle PUM a 2 představují nerizikové profily. Pro regresní analýzu prediktorů PAUS byl využit generalizovaný lineární model (GLM). Spjatost sebehodnoty s akademickým úspěchem negativně predikovala PAUS. Stejný směr... This thesis addresses the issue of underachievement among gifted university students within the framework of the Pathways to Underachievement Model (PUM; Snyder & Linnenbrink- Garcia, 2013). The aim of the study was to identify risk profiles of gifted individuals who may be prone to underachievement and to examine whether the theoretical assumptions of the PUM model hold true in the context of higher education. The theoretical part focuses on the concepts of giftedness and underachievement. It discusses various characteristics of gifted individuals and the risk factors that may lead to underachievement. University students with an IQ>130 (N = 153, Mage = 23.8, 57.5% female) completed a battery of questionnaires measuring perceived academic underachievement (PAUS), academic motivation (SAMS), contingency of self-worth (CSWS), mindset (TIS), higher education expectations (HEES), resilience (BRCS), and social support (SSS). Latent profile analysis (LPA) identified four profiles, two of which corresponded to the theoretically proposed underachievement pathways of the PUM model, while the remaining two represented non-risk profiles. A generalized linear model (GLM) was used to examine predictors of PAUS. Contingency of self-worth on academic success was a significant negative predictor of PAUS....
