This work evaluates the e!ectiveness of indicators of Czech State Environmen- tal Policy. The indicator analysis determines what factors have influenced the development of individual indicators, concretely greenhouse gas emissions and waste production. The chosen methodology is index decomposition analysis, and for specific results, the Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index was used, which is a suitable IDA method. This work examines indicators within the NACE classification in order to analyze them at the sectoral level and to consider the impact of external factors on indicators, such as COVID-19 or environ- mental policies. The results of the work will provide insight into the direction of sustainable development and evaluate the policy and the fulfillment of its targets.
