Tato diplomová práce se zabývá moderním multismyslovým konceptem Snoezelen a jeho využitím u dětí předškolního věku v zařízeních poskytujících zdravotnické, vzdělávací a sociální služby. První část práce se věnuje shromáždění teoretických východisek Snoezelen-MSE konceptu, stručně představuje historii a základní principy a zásady metody. Přináší přehled základního vybavení Snoezelen místností a současného stavu využití Snoezelen konceptu v České republice i v zahraničí. Teoretická část práce se dále zabývá uplatněním tohoto přístupu v terapii, při vzdělávání i v rámci volnočasových aktivit a popisuje cílovou skupinu - nejčastější uživatele této metody. Výzkumná část se zaměřuje na využití Snoezelen konceptu ve vybraných institucích z řad zdravotnických, školských a sociálních zařízení v České republice. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem a se kterými cílovými skupinami je s metodou Snoezelen v různých typech zařízení pracováno. Z důvodu charakteru cíle práce byl zvolen kvalitativní přístup a design případové studie. Výzkumný vzorek tvoří dvě zdravotnická zařízení, jedno zařízení poskytující sociální služby a jedna mateřská škola. Klienty všech zařízení jsou děti předškolního věku. This thesis is focused on the modern multisensory concept of Snoezelen and its use with pre- school children in institutions providing healthcare, educational, and social services.. The first part of the thesis is devoted to gathering the theoretical background of the Snoezelen-MSE concept, briefly introducing the history and basic principles of the method. It provides an overview of the basic equipment of Snoezelen rooms and the current state of use of the Snoezelen concept in the Czech Republic and abroad. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the application of this approach in therapy, education and leisure activities and describes the target group - the most frequent users of this method. The research part focuses on the use of the Snoezelen concept in selected institutions among health, educational and social institutions in the Czech Republic. The aim of the work is to find out how and with which target groups the Snoezelen method is used among different types of institutions. Due to the nature of the aim of the thesis, a qualitative approach and case study design was chosen.
