Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na technologii MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface), která je klíčovým prvkem v oblasti elektronických hudebních nástrojů, hudební produkce a multimediální tvorby. Cílem práce je představit nejen teoretické základy fungování MIDI, ale také podrobně analyzovat jeho technické aspekty, komunikační protokoly, formáty souborů a praktické využití v různých oblastech. V teoretické části je technologie MIDI podrobně popsána jak z hlediska softwarového, tak hardwarového. Zaměřujeme se na strukturu MIDI zpráv, způsob jejich přenosu, možnosti propojení s digitálními pracovními stanicemi (DAW) a dalšími externími zařízeními. Důležitou součástí této práce je rovněž přehled historického vývoje a standardizace MIDI, od jeho vzniku v 80. letech až po současnost, kdy je tato technologie stále dominantní v profesionálním i amatérském hudebním světě. Praktická část této práce navazuje na teoretické poznatky a aplikuje je v reálném prostředí prostřednictvím několika demonstrací. Ukázky zahrnují práci s MIDI sekvencemi v DAW, interaktivní ovládání efektových jednotek a synchronizaci scénických prvků, což ukazuje široké možnosti využití MIDI i mimo hudební sféru. MIDI je zde představeno jako univerzální nástroj pro zefektivnění produkce, rozšíření kreativních možností a precizní... This bachelor's thesis focuses on the MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) technology, which is a key element in the field of electronic musical instruments, music production, and multimedia creation. The aim of the thesis is not only to present the theoretical foundations of MIDI, but also to analyze its technical aspects, communication protocols, file formats, and practical applications in various fields. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a detailed description of MIDI technology from both software and hardware perspectives. It focuses on the structure of MIDI messages, the methods of transmission, the possibilities of integration with digital audio workstations (DAWs), and other external devices. An important part of the thesis is also an overview of the historical development and standardization of MIDI, from its inception in the 1980s to the present, where this technology remains dominant in both professional and amateur music scenes. The practical part of the thesis builds upon the theoretical knowledge and applies it in a real- world environment through several demonstrations. The examples include working with MIDI sequences in DAWs, interactive control of effect units, and synchronization of stage elements, showcasing MIDI's wide range of applications even outside the music...
