Cílem bakalářské práce je identifikovat a posoudit dopady mezinárodní sportovní události na místo konání a na blízké okolí. Konkrétně pořádání Mistrovství světa ve veslování 2022 v Račicích. Práce obecně představuje problematiku sportovního turismu a možné dopady sportovních událostí na místo jejich konání. Přibližuje veslařský sport na vrcholové úrovni. Formou případové studie je pak na základě materiálů poskytnutých organizátory a rozhovorů s představiteli obcí v bezprostřední blízkosti Labe arény v Račicích, kde se událost konala, diskutováno, jaké dopady - pozitivní a negativní na území měla. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify and assess the impacts of an international sporting event on the venue and the surrounding area. Specifically, the hosting of the 2022 World Rowing Championships in Račice. The thesis presents the issue of sports tourism in general and the possible impacts of sporting events on the venue. It presents the rowing sport at the top level. In the form of a case study, it is then discussed on the basis of materials provided by the organisers and interviews with representatives of the municipalities in the immediate vicinity of the Labe Arena in Račice, where the event was held, what impacts - positive and negative - it had on the territory.
