Po důkladném seznámení s životem a kulturou obce Kožichovice jsem dospěl k poznání, že jedním z klíčových pilířů, které zásadním způsobem přispívají k chodu vesnice, je Sbor dobrovolných hasičů – SDH Kožichovice. Fenomén dobrovolného hasičství v současném kontextu venkovské obce tak nabývá nejen funkční, ale i silně symbolické hodnoty. Co vlastně znamená dobrovolné hasičství na vesnici? Otázka, která se stala středobodem mého zkoumání. Na základě tohoto poznání navrhuji nové zázemí pro Sbor dobrovolných hasičů, a to v kombinaci s tělocvičnou, jež by rozšířila funkční možnosti objektu a zároveň přirozeně podpořila společenský život v obci. Historické souvislosti, místní vztahy a spolková tradice se mi staly vodítkem při hledání objektu, který by mohl sloužit jako výchozí bod pro nově utvářenou náves. After thoroughly familiarizing myself with the life and culture of the village of Kožichovice, I have come to realize that one of the key pillars that significantly contributes to the functioning of the village is the Volunteer Fire Brigade – SDH Kožichovice. The phenomenon of volunteer firefighting in the current context of a rural community thus takes on not only a practical but also a deeply symbolic value. What does volunteer firefighting mean in a village? This question became the focal point of my research. Based on this insight, I propose a new facility for the Volunteer Fire Brigade, combined with a gymnasium, which would expand the functional possibilities of the building and at the same time naturally support social life in the village. Historical context, local relationships, and the tradition of community associations served as my guide in seeking a building that could become the starting point for a newly developed village square.
