Příprava a charakterizace strukturních vlastností a teplotní stability jednotlivých fází Fe-DCA probíhala v ultravysokém vakuu. Fáze byly připraveny postupnou depozicí nebo kodepozicí a následně charakterizovány pomocí metod rastrovací tunelové mikroskopie (STM) a nízkoenergiové elektronové mikroskopie/difrakce (LEEM/LEED). Výsledky této práce přispějí k hlubšímu porozumění vlastnostem Fe-DCA MOF a mohou pomoci při návrhu stabilnějších metalo-organických materiálů pro praktické aplikace.
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the characterization of metal–organic frameworks composed of iron atoms and organic ligands of 9,10-dicyanoanthracene (Fe-DCA MOF) on a gold substrate with (111) termination. The main objective is to analyze the growth of these two-dimensional structures, their morphology, and thermal stability depending on the deposition conditions. The Fe-DCA MOF consists of iron atoms forming coordination centers and organic DCA ligands, where their arrangement significantly influences the resulting physical and chemical properties of the system. The preparation and characterization of the structural properties and thermal stability of the individual Fe-DCA phases were carried out under ultra-high vacuum conditions. The phases were prepared by sequential deposition or co-deposition and subsequently characterized using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and low-energy electron microscopy/diffraction (LEEM/LEED). The results of this work contribute to a deeper understanding of the properties of Fe-DCA MOFs and may support the design of more stable metal–organic materials for practical applications.
