This bachelor's thesis focuses on the study of interactions between pharmaceuticals and fulvic acids. Isothermal titration calorimetry, a method based on measuring the heat released or absorbed during binding reactions, was employed to investigate these interactions. This technique enables the determination of key thermodynamic parameters. The main objective of the experimental section was to analyze the interactions between tetracycline and fulvic acids, which are commonly found in soil. Tetracycline, a broad-spectrum antibiotic frequently used in both human and veterinary medicine, is regularly detected in the environment.
