DIC analýza potvrdila shodu měření deformací s výsledky klasické tahové zkoušky a odhalila rozdíly v rozložení napětí.
This thesis focuses on the study of the mechanical properties of polymer filaments under high strain rates. The main objective was to compare the behavior of PLA and Woodfill materials under quasi-static and dynamic loading. Samples were produced using 3D printing in two orientations (0° and 90°) and tested by means of a quasi-static tensile test and a Hopkinson tensile test. The results showed a significant sensitivity of both materials to strain rate, with higher yield and ultimate strength values achieved under dynamic loading. Anisotropic properties were observed depending on the printing orientation, as well as different fracture characteristics. DIC analysis confirmed the consistency of deformation measurements with the results of the classical tensile test and revealed differences in stress distribution. Based on the obtained data, material models were created and numerical simulations were performed. The main contribution of this work is the modification of the Hopkinson tensile apparatus for further testing in the laboratory of the Institute of Manufacturing Technology, FME, Brno University of Technology.
