V rámci mechanických vlastností byly hodnoceny pevnost v tlaku za zvýšených teplot, odolnost vůči tepelným šokům (namáčecí zkouška) a odolnost vůči dynamickému zatížení pomocí Impingement testu.
The thesis focuses on ceramic foam filters. As part of the literature review, their function in the foundry process is described, and the methodology of their testing is summarized. The experimental part is dedicated to the comparison of three types of zirconia filters based on their physical and mechanical properties. In terms of physical properties, thermal capacity, pressure drop, filter flow rate, and flow compactness behind the filters were tested. The mechanical properties evaluated included compressive strength at elevated temperatures, resistance to thermal shock (dipping test), and resistance to dynamic loading using the Impingement test.
