This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a ventilation system for a multi-purpose sports hall with supporting facilities. The main objective was to ensure optimal indoor climate conditions with respect to hygiene, thermal, and operational requirements, while minimizing energy losses through an efficient design of air-handling units. The theoretical part describes the principle of heat transfer through exchangers and the technical possibilities of heat recovery, including an overview of heat exchanger types and their efficiencies, legislative and normative requirements for exchanger design, as well as the regulation and maintenance of heat recovery systems.
