Tato experimentálně zaměřená bakalářská práce se zabývá přípravou kovových nanostruktur odsmáčením. Tento proces výroby kovových nanostruktur se řadí mezi ty méně finančně a časově náročně, je ovšem těžké jej kontrolovat. Naším úkolem bylo optimalizovat proces výroby kovových nanostruktur a charakterizovat je s využitím skenovací elektronové mikroskopie (SEM) a mikroskopie atomárních sil (AFM) pro dva různé kovy. Práce má dvě části. První část zahrnuje rešerši v oblasti odsmáčení kovových tenkých vrstev a tvorby kovových nanostruktur touto metodou. Je zde popsáno odsmáčení v pevném stavu, vypsány faktory ovlivňující odsmáčení a uvedeno několik příkladů tvorby nanostruktur z literatury. Druhá část shrnuje experimenty a výsledky. Začíná popisem použitých experimentálních metod, jako jsou depozice, žíhání a analýza. Následně jsou uvedeny výsledky našich experimentů spolu se získanými mikrografy. Nanostruktury se podařilo vyrobit při první sérii experimentů, kdy byla depozicí nanesena vrstva zlata o tloušťce 20 nm na křemíkové substráty s různými krystalografickými orientacemi. Z našich výsledků také vyplývá, že vznik nanostruktur je ovlivněn krystalografickou orientací substrátu. Při druhé sérii experimentů jsme depozicí vytvořili vrstvu hliníku o tloušťce 60 nm na křemíkový substrát. Z této vrstvy se nicméně žíháním nanočástice získat nepodařilo. This bachelor thesis focuses on the fabrication of metal nanostructures by dewetting. This method of fabricating metal nanostructures is relatively cost- and time-efficient, although it is hard to control. Our objective was to optimize the process of producing metal nanostructures and characterize them using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) for two different metals. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part introduces research on the dewetting of metal thin films and the formation of metal nanostructures using this method. It describes solid-state dewetting, lists the factors influencing dewetting and provides several examples of nanostructures formation from literature. The second part summarizes the experiments and results. It starts with a description of the experimental methods used, namely deposition, annealing and analysis. The results of our experiments are then presented, along with acquired micrographs. Nanostructures were successfully fabricated during the first series of experiments, in which a 20 nm thick gold layer was deposited on silicon substrates with different crystallographic orientations. Our results also indicate that the formation of nanostructures is influenced by the crystallographic orientation of the substrate. In the second series of experiments, a 60 nm thick aluminum layer was deposited on a silicon substrate, but unfortunately, the formation of nanoparticles was not successful.
