Tato práce se zabývá optimalizací molekulárních markerů pro detekci genetických faktorů spojených s opeřením běháků u kura domácího. Z pohledu chovu a šlechtění může být tento znak zajímavý nejen esteticky, ale i funkčně. Teoretická část práce se zabývá kurem domácím a jeho biologickou charakteristikou, chovem drůbeže, šlechtěním drůbeže a molekulárními metodami, které jsou při šlechtění využívané. Praktická část zahrnovala izolaci DNA ze vzorků krve, polymerázovou řetězovou reakci a sekvenování vybraných vzorků, přičemž se soustředila na identifikaci specifických genů a jednonukleotidových polymorfismů. Výsledky ukázaly, které molekulární markery mohou být vhodné při detekci opeření zadních končetin, což přispívá k lepšímu porozumění genetické podstaty tohoto znaku a jeho využití v molekulárních metodách při šlechtění drůbeže. This study focuses on the optimization of molecular markers for detecting genetic factors associated with foot feathering in the domestic chicken. From the perspective of poultry breeding, this trait can be interesting not only for its aesthetic value but also for its functional significance. The theoretical part of the study examines the domestic chicken and its biological characteristics, poultry farming, poultry breeding, and molecular methods used in breeding programs. The practical part involved DNA isolation from blood samples, polymerase chain reaction, and sequencing of selected samples, focusing on the identification of specific genes and single nucleotide polymorphisms. The results identified molecular markers suitable for detecting foot feathering, contributing to a better understanding of the genetic basis of this trait and its application in molecular methods for poultry breeding.
