Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá památnými stromy. Řeší jejich význam pro člověka a krajinu, ochranu v minulosti i v současnosti a popisuje způsoby péče o ně. Cílem této práce bylo zmapovat památné stromy nacházející se na území Správního obvodu obce s rozšířenou působností České Budějovice. Na základě terénního šetření a pracování s dostupnými informacemi z Ústředního seznamu ochrany přírody a dalších zdrojů byl vytvořen jejich kompletní přehled. V něm jsou jednotlivé památné stromy podrobněji popsány. Mapování ukázalo, že se na tomto území nachází vysoký počet památných stromů a zároveň je mezi nimi poměrně široké zastoupení více druhů. Na základě porovnání počtu památných stromů v okolních územích Správních obvodů obcí s rozšířenou působností s mapovaným územím bylo zjištěno, že právě v tomto mapovaném území se nachází nejvíce památných stromů. This bachelor's thesis focuses on memorial trees. It addresses their significance for people and the landscape, their protection in the past and present, and describes methods of their care. The aim of this thesis was to map the memorial trees located within the administrative district of municipality with extended competence of České Budějovice. Based on field research and the use of available information from the Central Register of Nature Protection and other sources, a complete overview of these trees was created. Each memorial tree is described in more detail in this overview. The mapping revealed that there is a high number of memorial trees in this area, and at the same time, a relatively wide variety of species is represented among them. A comparison of the number of memorial trees in neighboring administrative districts of municipalities with extended competence showed that this mapped area contains the highest number of memorial trees.
