Práce pojednává o diverzitě ptačích společenstev na gradientu urbanizace na 20 mapovaných lokalitách v Českých Budějovicích. Gradient urbanizace představuje zastoupení městské zeleně a zástavby v různých typech městského prostředí. Na vybraných lokalitách byla v letech 2022-2024 zmapována struktura ptačího společenstva a struktura vegetace. Práce se zaměřuje na detailní studium habitatových preferencí jednotlivých pozorovaných druhů a testuje vliv urbanizačního gradientu na zastoupení jednotlivých druhů a korelační vztahy mezi functional traits jednotlivých druhů ptáků a strukturou vegetace. Dále se zabývá vztahy mezi zastoupením vybraných druhů dřevin v mapované oblasti a vybraných druhů v ptačí komunitě. Výsledky poukázaly na význam městské zeleně pro urbánní ptačí společenstva a jejich diverzitu. This thesis examines the diversity of bird communities along urbanization gradient in České Budějovice. Urbanization gradient is represented by amount of urban greenery and urban development in different types of urban landscape within 20 mapped localities. Within chosen localities, bird community structure and vegetation structure were assessed during the years 2022-2024. The thesis focused on detailed study of habitat preferences of observed bird species and tested effect of urbanization gradient on bird species presence and bird species functional traits. It further examines relationships among most common wood species within the study area and selected bird species proportions. Results showed significance of urban greenery for urban bird communities and its diversity.
