Šatník byl založen v roce 2021 jako materiální pomoc pro osoby prchající před válkou na Ukrajině. Po několika stěhování se ustálil na adrese Pellicova 2c. V současnosti slouží jako místo pro sběr a distribuci použitého oblečení, hygienických potřeb a dalších potřebných věcí, které získávají od dárců a firem. Tento materiál byl určen pro osoby, které jej potřebují, avšak vytváří stereotyp, ze kterého se snaží Vesna vymanit. Vizí Vesny je vytvoření upcyklačního centra, které nebude pouze pro lidi v nouzi, ale bude sloužit širší veřejnosti. Diplomovou práci jsem se rozhodla využít jako možnost podpořit a ztvárnit tuto vizi. V mém zájmu je vytvořit upcyklační (re-use) centrum spolu s novým šatníkem, jehož velkým motivem bude snížit množství produkovaného odpadu a zvýšit povědomí o recyklaci či cirkulární ekonomice mezi lidmi. The šatník was founded in 2021 as material assistance for people fleeing the war in Ukraine. After several moves, it settled at Pellicova 2c. It currently serves as a place for the collection and distribution of used clothing, hygiene items and other necessary items that they receive from donors and companies. This material was intended for people who need it, but it creates a stereotype that Vesna is trying to break free from. Vesna's vision is to create an upcycling center that will not only be for people in need, but will serve the wider public. I decided to use my diploma thesis as an opportunity to support and embody this vision. I am interested in creating an upcycling center together with a new šatník, the main motive of which will be to reduce the amount of waste produced and increase awareness of recycling or the circular economy among people.
